Skoda Fabia VRS - Stage 1 Remap + Launch Control + Popcorn Limiter

Performance modifications:

- Turbo-back exhaust

This Fabia VRS came to us for a stage 1 remap just over a year ago. With this tune we achieved 172 bhp and 296 ft/lb of torque on the dyno at Saxon Motorsport in Hereford. These are safe figures for the standard car with all standard components (including clutch).

The owner has since fitted a turbo-back exhaust and wanted a hardcut limiter adding along with launch control. Here is a short video of the car demonstrating these features:

Popcorn/hardcut limiter on a Passat PD130 with a GTB2260vk turbo

This big-spec Passat came to us for a popcorn limiter, the previous tuner had added a popcorn limiter but the owner did not like the sound of it. We listened to what the owner wanted and modified the tune to suit, as soon as he heard the limiter the owner was grinning! Always enjoy seeing our customers going away smiling.

Seat Ibiza PD130 with GTX 1752/56 hybrid turbo setup!

Performance modifications:

- PD130 conversion (car was originally a PD100)

- GTX 1752/56 Hybrid Turbo

- Front mount intercooler with hard piping kit and EGR delete

- Full turbo-back exhaust system (Milltek downpipe)

Following a previous tune from elsewhere the customer contacted us to take a look at the car. Unfortunately the previous tune did not target safe boost levels for this turbo and the car was not making its power potential. After a few data-logging runs and 2 revisions we were happy with the way the car was driving and the customer went away smiling! We would estimate that this car is running around 235bhp based on previous cars we have tuned on the dyno with this hybrid turbo. Boost is capped at just over 1.7bar which is safe for this turbo.
