Skoda Fabia VRS - Custom Stage 1 Tune

We recently had the pleasure of seeing this very low mileage mk1 Fabia VRS for a "stage 1" tune. With just 31,000 miles on the clock it's the lowest mileage example we have seen in quite a few years!

Initial datalogs revealed that everything was in good health (as expected) and the car was making over stock book figures (as the BLT variants of the PD130 engine in the later fabia/ibiza/polo often do). And after a few revisions we ended up seeing gains of 31bhp and 85nm whilst maintaining safe boost and fuelling levels for the stock components (and zero smoke).

Stock: 142bhp & 329nm

PD Tuning Custom Stage 1: 173bhp & 414nm

Ford Transit / Ranger 2.0TDCI EcoBlue Continental SID212 Tuning

Thanks to Alientech we can now offer same day tuning on all Ford SID212 ECU's which were previously offered by postal unlock service only.

If you've been told that your vehicle cannot be tuned due to this or you were put off by the longer turnaround time then it's great news for you!

These ECU's were fitted to Transits and Rangers with the 2.0TDCI from 2019 onwards - the engine's are all identical no matter what horsepower variant you have from factory and all tune up to ~200bhp with ease. This is an amazing power upgrade - especially for those with the 105bhp variants!

Volkswagen Transporter T5 1.9TDI PD BRR/BRS Stage 1 Tune

This underpowered T5 came in to us for a much needed tune up. This van has the "BRR" engine fitted which is identical to the higher power "BRS" engine. Volkswagen decided to detune the BRR to 84bhp and 200nm (book figures) whilst the BRS got 102bhp and 250nm, from the exact same engine/turbo/injectors!

The gains from these lower power variants are even more satisfying as you can see in the dyno graph below we see gains of 58bhp and 124nm from the stock figures.

Stock run: 87bhp & 230nm

After tuning was completed: 145bhp & 354nm
